Parker Recreation hosts four family-friendly races each year as part of the annual Run Series, which is expected to promote community and active living to more than 2,500 participants over the course of the year!
Any proceeds from the events will benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program, which helps Parker families and/or individuals with limited financial resources participate in Town Recreation programs and facilities.
◦ Love 'em or Leave 'em Valentine's Day 5K/10K - each February
◦ Cattle Crossing 5K & Family Fun Trek - each June
◦ So Long to Summer 5K/10K - now in September
◦ Turkey Day 5K FUN Run/Walk - each Thanksgiving
In addition to the Run Series, Parker Parks and Recreation hosts the Kids' TRY-athlon event for ages 6 to 12 each July at H2O'Brien Pool and O'Brien Park. This event is about fun over competition. Boys and girls of all ability levels show their skills in three events: swimming, biking and running.
